The Whole Point~ using our given gifts for good.

Romans 12:6
We  have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his[a]faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.


Everyone has a gift.  You are born, you aren't good at everything...but certainly you are great at something.  Normally this is something that just comes to you with very little effort.  It doesn't have to be a huge something and maybe you don't even know what your gift is because you personaly feel it to be so insignificant.. like reading. Perhaps you are a fantastic reader.  Big deal right?  Maybe to an elderly individual that has lost their site or their site isn't what it used to be- hearing you read a story or the newspaper- would add a highlight to their day!  The point is simple: What is your gift? How are you using it?  I have chosen to use my gift the way I believe God would want me to.  Afterall, my gift isn't mine, I don't own it, I just house it.  If God hadn't authored me to possess this skill it wouldn't exist in me.  Whether you share my belief or not, it has been my decision to donate 50% of all my photography profits to Joyce Meyer Ministries' worldwide program. She provides food, education, shelter and medical services to places that are most often overlooked and need it most.  Those places I have pushed out of my mind not offering an ounce of my energy to think about- much less try to help provide the bare necessitites for them.
 
After a recent trip to Joyce's annual Woman's Conference in St. Louis my life has been forever changed.  Talk about AWESOME!  My eyes have never been opened so wide, my stomach never so ridden with guilt.  As it is true, thus far I have lived my 30 years very selfishly.  With 8-10 pillows on my baffle boxed bed, my overflowing closet full of clothes, meals that make my stomach swell... I have never spent an ounce of time thinking of how lucky I am.  It's time that I think about someone other than myself.

After my mind was made up that I had to do something, I approached my boyfriend Jamie with my plan.  Not sure if he would be interested I suggested to him that his gift was also artistic. He is very talented in art and drawing.  I thought perhaps he could muster up some of that creative ability to design T's and such- also giving 50%.  He was all for it.  In fact he has put out several Christian related designs already!  Production is nearing... check back soon for a link to our fashion T'shirt gallery!! - COMING SOON!
